In a strange turn of events, Pope Frankenstein VII was mobbed by villagers last night after killing two of them in an attempt to find a friend, and tragically did not survive the flogging and the burning and the stabbing with the pitchforks that ensued. However, the Cardinals were fast to act. They chose the runner up, Cardinal Andrew Aitken Rooney who went on to choose the name Pope A. Rooney I.

"Did you ever notice the funny hat the pope wears? Is that much hat really necessary?" Pope A. Rooney I queried during his coronation ceremony.
