Roses? In December?

Oh yeah! The DQ DID have the chicken basket special! I think that is the first time that they have honored a television DQ special. How lucky is that? And it was delicious!!

I have officially confirmed that the position at the library will be mine if I so choose. I told her that I would love to take the job! It would be so nice to work there again! That was definitely my favorite place to work. She added that if something were to come up between now and the day that I am supposed to start (after the holidays) that she would completely understand and that I should not feel obligated to her. That was very thoughtful, I think.

And I might have to really think about where to work because I just got a call today from another place that I applied to. It was for a part time job that was right in line with the library part time job (one ends at 10am and the other begins at 10am and they are only a block away). But they were very interested in interviewing me for a full time job - with benefits! And that job would pay the same as the job that I just left, plus it would be in town. I could walk if I had to. It's only a couple of blocks away. I have an interview on Monday.

Tonight I am going square dancing with a friend who needs to unwind after having just completed a very stressful project. She's all hopped up on caffiene and probably hasn't slept in a day or two, so this should be interesting. Especially since neither of us have ever square danced a day in our lives.

Square dancing is fun...for other people. Have fun tonight, but be careful, I can't afford to post bail right now!

ROFLMAO, SSB - you are too funny!

Syl, when it rains it pours! I wish I had your problems (just today's, of course.) Wonderful choices you have!

Because of you we ended up at Old Country Buffet last night - where country gravy, chicken-fried steak, and biscuits were indeed on the menu. Whooeeee!

Back in the early 80s, during the COUNTRY DANCING fad, I went out in my Cowboy boots and ruffled skirt - it was before line-dancing took over. Not square dancing, though. I'm with SSB on that one -

Have a terrific weekend!

Don't worry, SSB! I'm too smart to get caught ;)

Indiaiynke, Old Country Buffet is good too! I love buffets because then I don't have to decide on one thing to eat.

I'm gonna totally lose all my cool points, but I've been square dancing and it was fun. IT was only once though. I swear.

There were a lot of old people in funny clothes.

HEY! Good luck with all these job offers. Full time with benefits! Whoa!

Shannon, believe me, I would never think that you were uncool for square dancing. I had a lot of fun, too! My feet are hurting this morning, but I'd do it again, definitely!
