I know that most Christian groups have sided against the use of cloning, especially when it comes to humans; but I was wondering if they would feel the same way if they were given the opportunity to clone Jesus. For instance, if there was some viable DNA found on the Shroud of Turin, do you think most Christian groups would maintain that cloning was a sin? Or would they mull over if not jump at the chance to have their savior here before them in the living flesh? There
is supposed to be a second coming after all and there was no mention made of it not being due to cloning. We could even keep it true to the original and have a virgin bear the clone of Jesus.
